Who would have guessed that...
Just a few years ago, I was a waitress – working for hours. 10 to 12h a day. Monday to Saturday.
I didn't specifically enjoy 'serving' customers food and drinks. Or cleaning after them.
I enjoyed the challenge though.
Each night, I was planning my own strategies - I knew what tables were booked in and I would make sure to be prepared to sell and upsell.
It was a club/restaurant and it used to get really noisy and loud past 9pm at night.
Not something I would continue to do forever.
So I started selling on Etsy. Then selling through social media.
And I learned a lot.
Went from selling physical products (my first product listed and sold EVER was a reusable toilet paper roll! NO SHAME!).
I've made my first million through physical products.
People started to ask questions, advice... and both my grand ma and husband pushed me to start creating mini courses to help others on their journey.
I quickly started to creating and selling digital products. Completely.
To share my story: my tips, my tricks, my strategies.
Made another million from it.
Long story short... but if I'm doing it, ANYONE CAN.
I've been following specific steps to get here.
A specific methodology.
Sales and marketing techniques.
For different platforms. And it never fails.
A plan. My 30K+ Plan.
Most of my plan is all about setting up solid foundations (niche, creating in-demand products and offers, setting up automations, setting up evergreen listings for Etsy to bring me daily new customers flow, starting an email list and collecting emails, having storytelling automated email sequences crafted already for when ppl join my list etc...)
Once they're set, it's done.
Social media content isn't passive and requires me to create content daily.
But again - it doesn't even feel like work when you enjoy what you're documenting. And my strategy is all about documenting what you're doing in a specific storytelling way.
So I don't even 'make time' for content. I am the content. My days are my content.
If I'm doing it, anyone can.
If you follow me on Instagram, and specifically my stories, you must already know it and so it won't be a surprised anymore... but...
We moved out from the UK!
We took ONE-WAY tickets to... Dubai!
I will probably record a youtube video soon about why Dubai, and when did we decide to move. BUT today, it's already day 3!
Generated £2,201 yesterday and reaching 155,769 sales on Etsy... 😌
BUT new country, new routine.
I have created an entire new planning to be able to organise some time for working out early morning, for homeschooling our 2 daughters, to allow free time for full deep focus work during the day and also keep a few hours a day to discover Dubai, and what the city has to offer with all the actvities for families!
I really want to ENJOY EACH SECOND I HAVE on this earth.
And make the best of every day.
And being here in Dubai (even if it's REALLY hot right now – it literally feels like 50°C here this week!) is a massive blessing for us.
Today, I absolutely wanted to see The Dubai Fountain, located right in front of the famous Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai.
AMAZING TO SEE. Both my little girls Ivy-Rose & Charlotte were amazed too!
We spent a couple of hours at the Mall, INSIDE as it was way too hot to stay outside anyway! And went home.
The thing I will NEVER EVER get used to is the flexibility I have now with selling digital products as a full time 'job'. And the freedom...
I had my phone with me so I'm always here and ready to jump on a DM, answer an email, and create content on the go since everything has been already set up.
So instead of going back to our AirBnb, we snatched our swimming suits and ran into the pool downstairs... and look the view...
I mean... this was an amazing day.
It's been ages I haven't felt this good... aligned...
